Police have identified the body found in the area allocated for the construction of a water park in Hulhumale' as that of a Nepalese man.
They said that the man was named Rupan Thapaa Maraq and was 29 years old.
Police said that he was identified through forensic analysis of his remains and that he is the foreigner who was reported missing on the 21st of this month.
Police said investigations so far have not revealed anything suspicious in the death of Rupan Thapa Magar. Further investigations are underway, police said.
His body was discovered last Monday, and the Police had reported then that his body was heavily decomposed.
