Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital, IGMH, says it has discharged the 16-year-old boy who was involved in the traffic accident that resulted in one fatality earlier this month.
Tragic falls unfolded on the night of 13th July when a speeding motorcycle being driven by an underage motorist crashed into a pedestrian using the zebra crossing near Maafanu Bus Terminal.
The crash resulted in the death of the 17-year-old driver of the motorcycle and injuries to his 16-year-old passenger, as well as serious injuries to the 40-year-old pedestrian he hit.
IGMH said today, the 16-year-old victim has been discharged after he was treated for all the injuries sustained in the accident. The hospital did not give further details about the injuries the boy had sustained in the crash.
In another update, IGMH stated that the 40-year-old pedestrian remained in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital as his condition remained serious injuries.
The hospital had said earlier that they were treated him on the ventilator and have yet to confirm whether the victim had been taken off the ventilator or no.
