A woman has fallen from the second floor of a house in Male'.
Authorities said that the woman is 42 years old.
Police further said that the incident was reported to them around 4 in the morning and that the house was in Mahchangoalhi ward of Male'.
Police reported that the victim was taken to the state-run Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital.
Citing the hospital, Police said the woman suffered an open fracture in her two legs.
Police did not give any more information about the incident but said that they were further investigating the case.
