Maldives Airports Company Ltd has officially launched the countdown for the grand opening of the new terminal at the Velana International Airport.
The CEO and Managing Director of MACL, Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed, launched the official countdown.
The ceremony was held at midnight last night, and MACL revealed that there were 35 days till the new terminal opens. He was accompanied by top officials from the company.
Speaking at the ceremony, Sharif said he did not doubt the courage and bravery of the company's employees, as he had led the company in the last few months.
The new terminal, which will revolutionize the air transport industry in the Maldives, is one of the largest and most important projects underway to modernize Velana International Airport.
