The Presidential Inquiry Commission, which was set up to investigate the events of 18th April, says it has visited several locations relevant to the investigation.

The Commission was formed to investigate the fall of a 21-year-old woman onto the rooftop of a house in Male' after youth-led protests broke out in the capital, alleging police incompetence during the investigation.

Today, the Commission said via a post on X that since the Commission was established, Members of the Commission have visited locations relevant to the investigation.

The Commission also said that its members have met with officials of some relevant authorities and interviewed several persons.

Since its inception, the Commission has set up a special portal that allows members of the public to share relevant information about the events of 18th April with the Commission.

The establishment of the 5-member Commission has not allayed the concerns of the public, and protests continue in Male' over the investigation into the fall of the woman.
