The Maldives Meteorological Services, the Met Office, says Southwest Monsoon is expected to be active over the Maldives soon.
In a general weather update, the Met Office said that this may cause heavy showers and thunderstorms across the country in the next three days.
The Met Office also said that strong winds and rough seas are expected across the time during this time.
