Police say an unresponsive woman found in a housing unit in the Vinares Apartments has been rushed to the hospital and is currently under treatment.
They said a woman was reported crying inside a Vinares flat earlier this morning. Vinares flats are located in Hulhumale', Phase II.
Police said that they went there, forced the door open, and found an unconscious woman inside the apartment. They said that the woman was a 21-year-old local woman. Police also said that she was rushed to Hulhumale' Hospital for treatment.
Police later said the woman's family reported the incident, and while family members were inside the apartment when Police arrived on the scene, the woman was in the room alone.
Police are actively investigating the case.
