Police have confirmed that a Nepalese man was stabbed in Male' last night.
Police said to the media that the stabbing from reported around midnight and that the incident had happened on Kurikeela Magu in Male'.
They said that the man was rushed to state-run Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital after the stabbing.
Police cited the hospital to report that the man was being treated and that his condition was not serious.
Police have yet to arrest any suspects in the case and have not released information about the nature of the stabbing.
They added that they were further investigating the incident.
