The young man wounded in a house fire in Alifu Alifu Rasdhoo has succumbed to his injuries.
The man has been identified as Ali Samin from Alifu Alifu Rasdhoo.
Samin and his wife were wounded in a fire that started in their room last month.. Both had severe burns on 80 percent of their bodies and were put on ventilators.
Tragically, the woman succumbed to her injuries on the 31st of last month.
The man remained on the ventilator till the 6th of this month and was then transferred abroad last week for more treatment.
Authorities have yet to confirm how the fire broke out in the couple's home. Reports confirmed that though the fire started in their room, it did not have much fire damage.
