Local authorities have raided a cafe in Hulhumale and arrested two foreigners.
The suspects have been identified as Bangladeshi nationals named MD Raj Razzak (29) and Mohamed Thareequl (25).
Following a tip-off, the Hulhumale's Special Enforcement Team and the Investigation Team jointly arrested them.
Police further said that a bottle of suspected liquor, a nano stick, and cartridges were recovered from a takeaway at a house in Hulhumale' Phase 1.
While Police said that they were further investigating this case, Police had arrested three foreigners last week for possession of liquor.
The three foreigners include one man who was arrested with 75 bottles of liquor and two others arrested with 54 bottles of liquor last Wednesday night.
