A Maldivian on the Umrah Pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia died last night in the Holy City of Mecca.
This was confirmed by the Islamic Minister Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed. He said that the pilgrim belonged to Zamzam Hajj and Umrah group.
The deceased has been identified as Moomina Saeed from Gaafu Alifu Villigilli.
The Ministry did not give any more information about the circumstances surrounding her death.
