Nominations can be submitted starting today until 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 18, 2025, via the designated portal for the award: http://apply.presidency.gov.mv.

Any individual who has worked for over 35 years in a Government office, state-owned enterprise, or a company where a majority share is held by the Government, is eligible for the award. Nominations may be filed by organizations or by individual applicants.

The President will award a shield, a badge of honor, and a certificate as an award for service to the Government.

The National Awards Committee will take into consideration the quality of the nominees’ work and their contributions to the development of their respective fields. The award would also recognize the nominees’ achievements.
