The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has launched a special inspection to assess the cleanliness of spas and salons in the Greater Male' area.
The agency said it is conducting special inspections of personal service establishments (salons, spas, etc.) in the Greater Male' area to determine how they maintain hygiene standards.
HPA said they launched the inspection on the 9th of this month and will continue till the 19 of this month in the capital city.
The Agency urged the owners of such establishments to cooperate during its inspection.
