A local man has been found dead on a street in Gaafu Alifu Dhaandhoo.
Police identified the deceased as 33-year-old Ahmed Abdullah from Nagahela house on the island.
They said they received information that the deceased was seen lying on the road near the power station on the island around 08:10 in the morning.
Police cited the Health Center on the island to report that Ahmed was declared dead on arrival at the center. They did not reveal any further information about the incident.
Police added that they were further investigating the case.
