Three individuals who forcefully made a man enter a house in Male', stripped him naked, and robbed him have been sentenced to one year and three months in jail.
The incident happened in July of this year at a house named MA. Masfange on Dhilbahaaru Magu. The three individuals charged in the case include 43-year-old Aishath, 27-year-old Mohamed Reehan, and 35-year-old Shafeeq Ibrahim.
Out of the three, Aishath and Reehan are from Masfange.
The Prosecutor General filed three charges against the suspects. These include charges of assault, knowingly obtaining information without permission, and robbery.
The Criminal Court ruling said the three had robbed MVR 25,000 through the victim's cash card and another MVR 20,000 through the victim's internet banking.
At the trial, all three pled guilty to the charges and their jail sentences varied based on the time they spend in remand custody.
