Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, has been spotted on a local island in Haa Dhaalu Atoll.
Anant, whose father is the richest man in Asia, is currently vacationing in Soneva Secret resort with his wife and arrived on the island of Makunudhoo on a jet ski.
Reportedly, his first question upon arrival on the picturesque island in the north of the country was where he could buy a chicken and a rabbit.
Locals on the islands directed the son of the world's 9th richest man to the island's chicken coop where he reportedly made a purchase of a chicken and a rabbit for MVR 400.
The newly married Anant, whose billion-dollar wedding caught the attention of the whole world, also wanted to buy a bird but turned back when the place selling birds was closed.
Local media cited sources on the island to report that Anant returned to Soneva Secret on his jet ski but an entourage of his security and resort employees followed him to Makunudhoo on a launch.
Anant is well-known for his love for animals and owns the world's biggest animal shelter where hundreds of rescued animals live in their natural habitats.
