Bank of Maldives today announced the launch of the Waste Management Grant project, a strategic initiative to support the improvement of waste management practices across the nation.

The project, aimed at promoting a more sustainable environment for communities nationwide, will provide access to funding to purchase equipment for waste management facilities.

BML’s Deputy CEO and In-charge of the Bank, Aishath Noordeen commented that this grant reflects the Bank's commitment to supporting environmental sustainability, a core strategy of being a responsible business.

The Waste Management Grant announced today is open for local non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

BML said applications must be submitted via email no later than 4:00 PM on October 21, 2024
