Police are looking for a woman who hit and assaulted a minor.
Police said that they were looking for 25-year-old Sharufa Abdullah Adam from Gaafu Dhaalu Gahdhoo.
They said that the case is being investigated by the Police Station in Gahdhoo. They also said that they have been unable to summon the woman for questioning as her whereabouts are unknown.
Police released her name to appear before the police per the rules of procedure to be followed in investigating criminal cases.
The hearing will be held on September 2 at 10:00 am at the Sergeant Adam Halim Criminal Investigation Building. The police announcement said that the victim should appear before the Gahdhoo police station.
