The mother of former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, Muminaa Hussain Fulhu has passed away today.
She was 80 years old.
Sources have said that the ex-President's mother passed away at ADK Hospital earlier today while under treatment.
The MDP has expressed condolences to President Solih and his family on behalf of all its members.
Muminaa was also the mother of former MP for Hulhumale' Constituency Ali Niyaz and the Principal of Majeedhiya School Aishath Mohamed Solih.
Her funeral would be held at the Islamic Center tonight after Maqrib prayers.
