Police have arrested State Minister of Environment Ministry Fathimath Shamnaz Ali amid allegations that she performed black magic against President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
Police said that the State Minister was arrested for a criminal investigation the Police are currently undertaking and that two others were arrested concerning the same case.
It has been reported that one of the two arrested is a man named Ali Saleem. Police did not confirm whether the State Minister was arrested for performing black magic against the President.
They said that all three were arrested on the 23rd of this month and that the court has remanded them in custody for 7 more days.
The Press has come to know that Shamnaz and the two others were arrested for performing black magic to get politically closer to President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
Shamnaz is the ex-wife of the Minister at the President's Office Adam Rameez.
