Police have confirmed that a man has been found dead in a house in Haa Dhaalu Hanimaadhoo.
They said that the man was a local who was 64 years old.
Police said they attended a report of an unresponsive tenant who had rented a room in a house in Hanimaadhoo. Police said they entered the room to find the man unresponsive on the bed of the room.
They further said that the man was then rushed to the Health Center in Hanimaadhoo and that the Health Center said that the man was declared dead on arrival at the center.
Police said they were further investigating the incident.
