Police have arrested a local man in connection to the arson attack against several parked motorcycles in Male'.
The cycles parked on Medhu ziyaarai Magu near Hotel Jen were set ablaze in the early hours of Tuesday. Police said that 7 cycles and 1 van were damaged in the fire and that out of the 7, 3 were damaged beyond use.
In the latest update, Police said that a 36-year-old man has been arrested in connection to the case.
Police also said the Criminal Court had remanded the suspect in custody for 30 days.
Police are further investigating the incident.
