The Managing Director of Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation MMPRC Fathimath Thaufeeq has been dismissed from her post today.
The Press has come to know that Fathimath was dismissed from her post today. However, the Managing Director of the Privatization and Corporatization Board PCB Ahmed Yameen said that nothing has been made final in this regard.
Fathimath Thaufeeq was appointed as the Managing Director of MMPRC last December.
Her dismissal follows the resignation of the Chairperson of MMPRC Aisha Nurain Janah last night.
PCB has confirmed that Nurain submitted her resignation letter and that it has accepted her resignation. The media today reported that another member of the MMPRC board had also resigned.
Rafil Mohamed who represented MATI on the MMPRC board resigned today without giving a specific reason for his resignation.
