The boy who was injured when a wall fell on top of him in Thaa Atoll Kandoodhoo has been transferred to Male' for further treatment.
The 10-year-old was injured yesterday when the wall collapsed on top of him while he was out playing with friends. His friends dragged him out from under the wall and rushed him to the Health Center on the island.
The Health Center said on a post today, that the boy has now been transferred to Male' via the Air Ambulance for further treatment. The Center also shared pictures of the boy being transferred to Male' on the Air Ambulance.
The boy was admitted to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital IGMH after being transferred to Male' and an official from the hospital confirmed that the boy was stable. The Official said that he was being treated for a broken leg but did not comment on other injuries the boy may have suffered during his ordeal.
