President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajida Mohamed arrived in Malé this evening, after performing Umrah on the gracious hospitality of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
During this visit from May 10 to 15, the President was accompanied by the Minister of Islamic Affairs; Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, Head Imaam of the Islamic Centre; Sheikh Mohamed Latheef, Chief of Staff, the President's Office; Abdulla Fayaz, Minister at the President’s Office for Presidential Affairs; Ali Arif and Minister at the President’s Office; Abdulla Nasir.
On his trip to the Kingdom, President Muizzu met with Maldivian students studying in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
The meeting was attended by twenty-four Madinah-based students, who brought their needs and concerns to the President's attention during the meeting. Speaking at the meeting, President Dr Muizzu assured them that he would examine the issues and aim to find effective solutions to the issues raised by the Maldivian students in Madinah.
