The President's Office says President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed will exchange greetings with the members of the general public on the morning of Eid-ul-Fitr day at the Official Residence of the President, Mulee'aage.
It said the President and First Lady will meet the public from 09:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
This invitation is open to Maldivians of all ages, local companies, and representatives from civil society organizations. It encourages families, children, and youth to exchange Eid-ul-Fitr day greetings.
Attendees are directed to use Shaheedh Abdullah Zuhair Road, which leads to the main gate located on Medhuziyaaraiy Road.
The Maldives is expected to celebrate Eid-Al fitr on the 10th of this month which falls on next Wednesday. The day of eid would be confirmed after the moon sighting ceremony to be held on either Monday or Sunday night.
