Two cars were involved in a traffic collision in Hithadhoo of Addu City today.
Police said that they received the report of the accident around 06:15 a.m. earlier today on the junction between Medheraa Magu and Sharafudheen Magu.
They said that no one was injured in the accident but that both the vehicles involved in the collision sustained major damages.
Police said that both the drivers had valid driver's licenses. They added that they were further investigating the collision.
Social media pictures showed that one of the cars had flipped over in the collision. The windshield of the car that flipped was also completely broken.
While the other car sustained damage to its hood in the collision.
Traffic accidents are growing common in the Maldives.
