The former Economic Minister said that MDP lost the power to rule following its internal problems and the opposition's tenacity to sell lies and propaganda.
He reminded that during the Presidential elections campaigning MDP was adamant that the country would fall back into its old ways if PPM/PNC came into power.
Fayyaz said that within the first three months of the new government, many aspects of its accession into power has been cleared and that within the first 100 days of its rule, the new administration has told 300 lies.
He accused the administration of coming to power with lies and lying every single day in power.
He further said that the government came into power promising of good economic policies and to pay back the dues for fishermen. However, he said that the government is acting without regard for the country's economic situation and that the government is headed towards an economic upheaval.
Fayyaz said that only way to prevent this is for MDP to secure majority of the Parliament.
