The President reiterated the Government's consistent efforts towards retrieving the nation’s lost maritime territories since assuming office. He expressed his unwavering commitment to this objective and promised to continue working on it until it is accomplished.
The President announced plans to enhance the Maldives' capabilities for conducting underwater surveys, emphasizing that Maldivians aspire to conduct scanning and mapping activities within their territory. He shed light on the Government's diligent efforts to equip the armed forces with the necessary capabilities.

He also reiterated his commitment to enhancing road infrastructure in Veymandoo and other major islands. He also emphasised the importance of prioritizing land reclamation initiatives for Veymandoo.
