The Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSFD) has announced that 19 special needs people will be handed over to their families.

The ministry said it would plan training programs for the families of the victims and conduct awareness-raising programs.

The ministry will also try to identify the reasons why families are reluctant to take over the center. The Ministry has also decided to plan awareness programs on mental illness.

It noted that this is part of its efforts to ensure that everyone has the right to a happy, dignified life with their families.

The ministry is also working to ensure that children in state custody grow up in a family. The ministry has opened the door for fostering children and has decided to provide financial assistance to them.

The government will provide a monthly allowance of MVR 5,000 to families who foster children to provide financial assistance. Along with an assessment of families who wish to foster children, the ministry has decided to conduct a training.
