Maldives Transport and Contracting Company MTCC says it has today fully resumed the RTL bus routes following the completion and opening of the last two segments of Ameenee Magu yesterday.
MTCC said that RTL bus services on several routes have fully resumed today and that this includes routes to and from Male' to Hulhumale' and Hulhule'.
It detailed that RTL routes R1 (Westpark to Hulhumale' Phase I), R3 (West Park to Velaana International Airport VIA), and R7 (Westpark to Hulhumale' Phase 7) will now pick up passengers from all the stops on the route including the Westpark stop.
MTCC also said that RTL Minibus routes including Orchid Route and Ameenee Route will also make all the stops on Ameenee Magu.
Meanwhile, MTCC also said that cargo ferry to several destinations will now leave from Maafanu Ferry terminal once again following the completion of Ameenee Magu.
It said that this includes Male'-Villimale', Male'-Thilafushi, and Male'-Gulheefalhu cargo ferries.
Road Development Corporation RDC completed the last two segments of Ameenee Magu last week and opened it up to the public yesterday.
