A metal pole that fell from a building under construction in Male' has injured a woman.
Police said that the report of the incident came in around 07:29 p.m and that the pole had fallen from a building under construction on Roashanee Goalhi.
Police also said that the woman who was injured in the incident has been taken to ADK hospital for treatment.
They further said that they were further investigating the matter.
Construction mishaps are not uncommon in the Maldives with falling objects from construction buildings sometimes causing fatalities, especially in the capital Male'.
