President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has met with the leaders of the Maldives Development Alliance MDA, Maldives National Party (MNP), and the Democrats.
The separately held meetings took place at the President's Office today. President Muizzu had earlier met with the Leader of the Jumhooree Party JP Qasim Ibrahim.
The meeting with Qasim was followed by a meeting with the leader of MDA, MP for Meedhoo Constituency Ahmed Siyam Mohamed. The President then met with the President of MNP, MP for Dhagethi Constituency Mohamed Nazim.
The President's Office confirmed that President Muizzu also met with the President of the Democrats MP for West Henveiru Constituency Hassan Latheef.
While the President's Office shared pictures of the meetings, it did not reveal any details of the discussions held between the President and leaders of the major political parties.
It is also unclear whether or not the President would meet with the main opposition party MDP leader.
