President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Fathimath Thaufeeq (Kudi) as the Managing Director of Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation MMPRC.
The President had initially decided to appoint her to the SME bank SDFC as its managing director but then appointed her to MMPRC after requesting the privatization board to finalize the appointment.
The Privatization board made its decision yesterday and then notified MMPRC about the new appointment. Today is her first day as the Managing Director of MMPRC.
Fathimath Thaufeeq has a master's degree in business administration from Villa College and is also the Vice President of Addu City Meedhoo Constituency of PPM.
She has formed worked in several positions at stated-owned companies including as the Manager of Admin and Procurement at Wamco.
