The Prosecutor General's office has filed charges against two individuals in connection to the murder of Mohamed Ahmed Didi from Seenu Hithadhoo who was stabbed to death.
The 30-year-old was attacked on the 24th of February 2022 inside the Klasa shop.
The prosecutor's office said it submitted the charges to the Criminal Court on the 30th of last month against two persons in connection with the death of Mohammed Ahmed Deedi, who died while undergoing treatment at the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).
The two individuals who face charges are Ibrahim Faih Nizam from Seenu Maradhoo Feydhoo and Siruhan Ali from Gaadhifushi.
The case has been sent to the prosecution. Maradufedu, Rakdebaige, Ibrahim Faih Nizam and Sirhan Ali. Faih and Sirhan are charged with intentional homicide with a sharp object under the Prohibition of Intimidation, Possession of Dangerous Weapons and Sharp Objects Act.
The Criminal Court has issued an order to remand the two men in custody till the end of the trial. Faih was previously in custody in connection with a fight inside De Public Cafe.
