Interim Spokesperson Mohammed Firzul Abdullah Halil has confirmed that President-elect Dr. Mohammed Muizzu has left for the UAE.
Firzul told The Press that Muizzu had left for the UAE on a private trip. He said that the UAE has arranged the transportation as a hospitality,
Firzul added that the UAE government is involved in Maldives’ projects. Firzul has said this while the international airport in N.Maafaru was built with the assistance of the UAE.
Muizzu arrived in Singapore with his family on the 30th of last month and returned to Maldives last Saturday. The visit is the first since he won the presidential election. Muizzu’s first trip abroad
