A middle-aged man is missing from the Northern city of Khulhudhufushi.
Police said in a post that they are looking for 39-year-old Abdullah Ibrahim.
Police said that Abdullah was last seen early Thursday morning. He was reported missing by his family yesterday.
Anyone with information about him is asked to contact the Khulhudhufushi Police Station (9791382) or the Police Hotline (3322111).
Missing persons' cases have grown in recent months with both adults as well as children being reported missing frequently.
While most cases have been resolved successfully, some result in tragedy as in the case of Mohamed Azhan who was reported missing in September of 2022.
His remains were found the following month in a land plot yet to be developed in Phase 1 of Hulhumale'. He was reported missing from Phase II of Hulhumale. His case remains unsolved.
