Maldives-based aid organization International Aid Campaign IAC has reaffirmed its commitment to keep helping the people of Palestine.
In a post on 'X', IAC said that its teams on the ground in Palestine were working tirelessly to provide food packages to Palestinians taking shelter in schools.
It said that these packages would be distributed to the Palestinians sometime tomorrow.
IAC restated its resolve to keep helping the people of Palestine as the NGO fell under scrutiny over its failure to publish its finances over the last few years.
The organization noted that the cost of their projects is made with consideration to operations, sustainability, and administrative costs with an average cost of 12.5 percent excluded.
IAC has been active on the ground in Palestine since the siege of Gaza began on the 7th of this month. It has been providing hot meals and in some cases money to those affected by the unfolding humanitarian catastrophe.
The death toll has been mounting in Gaza amid relentless bombardment from Israel after Palestinian resistance group Hamas surprised the zionist state with a massive attack in Southern Israel on the 7th of October.
Since then, Israel has been bombarding the enclave with artillery fire and precision missile strikes, targeting residential buildings, hospitals, and schools as well as other public structures.
The health ministry in Gaza, which is governed by Hamas, has said at least 5,791 Palestinians, including 2,360 children, have been killed in the Israeli assault.
