A man who was seriously injured in a training cylinder explosion at Hdh. Khulhudhufushi Airport has been taken abroad for further treatment.
A 37-year-old man was injured in the incident at the airport on Thursday. He sustained serious injuries to one of his arms and is being taken to India for further treatment.
This morning, a procedure of disinfection and protection of the injured area was carried out, the man’s family said.
Four people were injured when they tried to fill a fire cylinder at the airport.
Three men and a woman were injured in the incident. The seriously injured man was taken to Malé by MNDF Northern Area command aircraft at 19:08 pm on Thursday.
