The Ministry of Tourism has again opened tenders for the development and operation of a tourist resort in Nalandhoo.
The ministry said in an announcement that the 63.99-hectare Nalandhoo tourist resort will be leased for a 50-year period to build a 200-bed resort.
The island will be given a construction period not exceeding 36 months from the date of signing of the lease agreement in accordance with the current regulations of the Ministry. Bidders are required to pay a bid security of US$50,000
Interested parties are requested to attend the information meeting on Tuesday, 24 October 2023 at 11:00 am and submit their bids by Monday, 06 November 2023 at 10:00 am.
Those who wish to attend the information meeting are requested to send their name, email address and telephone number to the Ministry of Tourism before 12:00 noon on Monday, 23rd of this month.
Last August, the Ministry of Tourism opened a tender for the construction of the resort.
