Maldives National Defense Force MNDF Fire and Rescue Services has extinguished a fire reported from a residence near the Red Wave Plaza in Male'.
MNDF said that the fire incident was reported from Ma. Forget Me Not in Mahchangoalhi ward and that the incident was reported at around 11:40 a.m.
They also said that the fire had been controlled and that they had not received a report of any injuries relating to the incident.
MNDF added that they have yet to find out the origin of the fire incident.
Fire incidents have grown common in the Maldives in recent years especially in the crowded capital Male'.
