Newly formed the Democrats have sent party delegations to destinations across the country as it prepares to launch its first policy later tonight.

The Democrats said that party members led by former President Mohamed Nasheed, Parliamentarians, former Ministers, Deputy Ministers, ex-Directors, executives, and others are traveling across the country to bring the public the party's first major policy since its inception.

The party said that its teams are traveling to 36 islands and the activities would continue from today till tomorrow. Nasheed who recently joined the party is now in Baa Atoll to spread the message of the newly formed party.

Founder of the party MP Hassan Latheef said that the party plans to travel to 52 islands to deliver its message but did not give details on the islands.

The Democrats announced via Twitter that it would launch its business police 'Faseyha Viyafaar' tonight at 08:30 pm.

It said that the event would be brought from many locations across the Maldives and that Nasheed would join the event in Baa Atoll Thulhaadhoo.

Democrats team have been dispatched to major destinations like the Kulhudhushi City in the North and Fuvamulah City in the South.
