The Bank of Maldives BML says it is running a Kids' Saver Promotion from 1st June to 10th July 2023.
It said that all new customers who successfully open a Kids' Saver account during the promotion period will be eligible to participate in the promotion.
BML said that twenty lucky winners will be chosen by a lucky draw conducted at the end of the promotion period.
It said that each winner will receive MVR 5,000, and an additional 20 winners will receive MVR 2,500 annually for active accounts.
It also said that all new accounts will receive a free reloadable prepaid card upon request. The Account Opening Centre and BML Islamic Male branch will be open on 8 July 2023 for walk-in appointments.
BML informed its customers that to apply for this account, you will need to bring along the child's birth certificate and/or ID card for verification.
