State-run IGMH says the victim of the accident that happened last Thursday when a bus collided with a motorcycle in Hulhumale Phase II is currently on ventilator support.
The victim of the accident has been identified as a 20-year-old local man.
He was initially taken to Hulhumale' hospital but was later transferred to IGMH for more treatment.
The media official at IGMH confirmed to 'The Press that the victim was on ventilator support but did not provide any other information about the injuries he sustained during the accident.
Thursday's accident happened near the 'Aman Udhares flats being built by 'Fahi Dhirunn in Hulhumale Phase II.
Photos on social media show that the victim sustained injuries on his arms.
In the collision the bus was also damaged with the pictures showing that the windshield of the bus was broken in the crash.
