The President's Office says President Wavel Ramkalawan and First Lady Linda Ramkalawan of the Republic of Seychelles will undertake a state visit to the Republic of Maldives from June 11-14, 2023, at the invitation of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
The President's Office stated that the governments of the Maldives and Seychelles will hold official talks during the visit, and several agreements will be signed to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
It further said the visit demonstrates the strong ties between the two island nations and is expected to enhance collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
Meanwhile, the Police said that the State with the visit scheduled for tomorrow, would be closing down the jetty area from the local market to the Izudheen jetty.
Police ordered all the sea vessels docked in the area to remove the vessels before 12:00 pm on the 11th of June.
They also said that vessel captains must confer with marine police and the coastguard before traveling in and out of the habor area.
