Police are searching for a missing boy after his family reported him missing.
They identified the missing child as 17-year-old Abduh Nafiu Ibrahim from Lhaviyani Kurendhoo.
Police said that boy's family filed a missing person report at the Police Station in Hulhumale' last night.
They said that they have shared the missing boy's information with all their sources and the efforts to locate the boy are yet unsuccessful.
Police noted that they would continue to search for the missing minor and requested the public to contact the police Phase 2 station via the number 9310707 or via police hotline number 3322111 if they have any information about the boy.
Missing person cases have increased recently with several cases reported in the last few week especially from the Greater Male' area.
