Mubeen further said that after Lamha had asked to make peace between the three, he had called Mary on several occasions and exchanged texts to try and resolve the matter. Mubeen said Mary asked him whether Marvin converted to Islam.

He also said that on the day of Mary's death, Lamha called him and talked to him about how Mary attempted to self-harm herself and have Marvin deported and that later when he met Lamha at the hospital, she showed no signs of being upset with death but rather seemed happy.
