Foreign Ministry says Maldivian nationals traveling to the Sultanate of Oman will be exempted from entry visas.
It said that the visa exemption allows Maldivians holding valid passports to enter and stay in the Sultanate of Oman for a maximum period of fourteen (14) days from the day of their entry.
The Ministry said that the visa exemption is subject to certain requirements including passport validity of a minimum of 6 months, a prior and confirmed hotel booking, health insurance, and a return ticket.
It further said that the Government of Maldives considers the visa exemption to the Sultanate of Oman for Maldivians as a gesture of close and cordial relations between the two countries and a testament to the high regard accorded to the Maldives by the Sultanate of Oman.
