Police have launched a search operation after a 15-year-old girl was reported missing from the capital Male'.
Police said that the girl was last seen last Wednesday and that her family reported her missing the following day.
They identified the missing girl as Zeek Binth Riyaz of Aagisa Manzil of Thaa Dhiyamigili.
According to the Police, her family last saw her around 5 pm on Wednesday when she left her house. Surprisingly, the missing girl's family did not report her disappearance until around 6:17 pm the next day when she did not return home.
Police said according to the family, Zeek was wearing a black top with heart shapes, grey jeans, and a black head scarf when she was last seen.
They urged the public to contact Police Family and Child protection Department via 9790163 or Police Hotline 3322111 if anyone has information about the missing girl.
