Addu City Council has opened the application for 500 land plots to be given from the city.
In an announcement, the City Council said that the land plots are available from Feydhoo, Meedhoo, and Hulhudhoo of Addu City.
It also said that the land plots to be given from Hulhudhoo and Meedhoo would be 2000 square feet and that 100 land plots would be given from those to islands.
While 300 land plots would be given from Feydhoo, the City Council said that they would be 1500 square feet.
The Addu City Council further said that 90 land plots from Hulhudhoo and another 90 from Meedhoo would be given to residents of those islands while residents from other islands can apply for the remaining 20 land plots from both islands.
It also said that 90 percent of the land plots from Feydhoo (270) would also be reserved for residents of Feydhoo and the remaining 30 land plots would be given to residents from other islands.
The Addu City Council invited those interested to submit the designated application forms and said that they can apply on the 2nd of next month. It added that the applications can be submitted till the 16th of February between 09:00 am to 01:00 pm every except for government holidays.
While the Addu City Council opened the application for 500 land plots, earlier this month Addu City Mayor Ali Nizar promised that the Council would release 900 land plots from the Southern City.
